LA Reference is part of the organizers of the 3rd. Open Science Fair, a key OpenAIRE initiative in the dissemination and construction of Open Science.

Open Science Fair will take place from September 20 to 24, 2021 virtually. This year’s theme is “Fostering local and global open science communities.” The goal is to bring together and empower open science communities and services; identify common practices related to open science; to see what are the best synergies to provide and operate services that work for many; and bring experiences from all over the world and learn from each other.

For LA Reference this co-organization represents recognition of our network as part of the global Open Science ecosystem.

The registration period will be open until September 10. The call for proposals has a deadline (summary submission) until July 26.

It is also co-organized by global communities such as: COAR, EIFL, Force11, LIBER, OPERAS, Sparc and Sparc Europe.
