The OCTS-OEI presents an explorer on Latin American research on COVID-19
The Ibero-American Observatory of Science, Technology and Society (OCTS) made available information on Latin American research on Covid-19 based on real-time monitoring of active institutions—university and scientific—found in the region. The data are obtained from three complementary sources: the database of scientific journals PubMed, the LA Reference repository network and a conglomerate of journalistic news collected by the UNESCO Science Office for Latin America.
Users can access statistical information in two ways: on the one hand, a graphic summary that arises from the processing carried out with each source; on the other, a more detailed explorer where the data can be broken down by country and institution.
OCTS committed to continuing to monitor trends and new research fronts related to science’s fight to find a cure for COVID-19.
